Our Facilities
From versatile classrooms equipped with Apple TVs and whiteboard tables, to science and design laboratories with cutting-edge equipment, our campus supports a diverse range of academic and extracurricular activities.
We take great pride in providing our students, staff, and community with in-house facilities that foster an enriching and conducive learning environment, supplemented by facilities in our local community of Marylebone and central London.
Our Facilities
Our wonderful Learning Coach works with students both within class and outside interventions in her dedicated office to support mild to moderate learning needs, providing students with scaffolds, strategies and accommodations. She also leads staff development workshops regularly to enhance inclusive and accessible practice throughout the school.
Our vibrant studio space offers diverse media and materials, fostering creativity as students build their course process portfolios in an inspiring space. We display student artwork throughout the building, infusing our wider environment with the creativity, joy and individuality of the studio.
Our state-of-the-art design laboratory is a hub of creativity, equipped with a 3D printer, laser cutter, and a workshop table. Here, students immerse themselves in a range of skills from traditional woodworking and jewellery making to cutting-edge graphic design. Past projects have included coding interactive games and crafting energising 'brain-boosting' smoothies to fuel their learning.
Diploma Programme students have their own dedicated study space, both a social hub and a place to collaborate and revise. Our Diploma Coordinator, University and Careers Counselling Director and Wellbeing Lead are often based here, giving immediate access for students whenever they need support.
Our school library is a vibrant hub for learning and exploration. During school hours, students can enjoy our cosy onsite library, perfect for browsing and reading.
Where our library truly excels is our extensive online catalogue, accessible 24/7 from anywhere in the world. Additionally, every student receives membership to the Westminster Library, granting them both online and in-person access to a vast collection of books and academic journals, ideal for their research and academic pursuits.
IB learners acquire the skills and knowledge to investigate problems in real-world contexts, and learning in central London enriches every student’s school experience. The city’s world-class universities, theatres, museums, galleries and exhibitions provide opportunities for each child to take their learning from our campus to every corner of our vibrant city. Our students could be beach combing on the Thames to explore the past, discovering the history of natural science in South Kensington’s museums, or enhancing their language skills by enjoying Mandarin or Spanish productions in London’s best theatres.
Students have access to a wide range of instruments in school, for use in lessons as well as through our peripatetic classes. Students follow a varied digital curriculum including learning how to use Logic, the industry-standard music production software. Students can also take part in our school band or perform in our annual music showcase.
As well as our own hall space, used for indoor activities such as table tennis, dance and fitness, we make use of various nearby leisure centres and facilities, such as Paddington Recreation Ground and Hyde Park, to offer a range of sports from football, basketball and volleyball to dance, running and kickboxing.
We use technology intentionally and transformatively. Our utilisation of digital tools is targeted, curriculum-oriented and research-led, and drives a thoughtful, forward-looking and reflective approach to pedagogy across our team, with our dedicated Digital Learning Coach supporting our community to remain innovative, responsible and reflective in our approach to technology.
All students work from an iPad or a laptop. Lessons and student work are uploaded to Google Classroom, which can be accessed by parents. Students benefit from our institutional subscriptions to a variety of educational technologies, including Google for Education and Canva for Education.
