Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) Report 2024
In October 2024, we were visited by the Independent Schools
The primary purpose of the Independent Schools
We are very pleased to share this report, outlining the quality of learning and the positive culture at our school.
'Teachers have secure subject-specific knowledge and use it to teach ambitious content. In line with the philosophy of the IB, teachers give weight to supporting pupils to build their own knowledge and skills through research. Teaching approaches such as extended lesson time and the use of good-quality resources ensure that pupils make good progress.
'The curriculum content is set out clearly through detailed schemes of work and lesson plans. Pupils are told what they will learn in each lesson and why this is important. Pupils are engaged, interested in academic study, and speak passionately about the subjects they are taught.
'Pupils come from culturally rich and nationally diverse backgrounds. Many have been previously educated overseas. Leaders have established an ethos of inclusivity in which pupils with different backgrounds, gender, faiths and gender preference feel comfortable and valued. As a result, pupils are self-confident and positive about difference.'
