University Destinations and Results 2024
Congratulations Class of 2024!
We are immensely proud to celebrate the achievements of our Class of 2024 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) students.
Our recent graduates have not only excelled academically but are also stepping confidently into their chosen future paths, fully embodying our mission to draw out the unique potential of each student. We are proud of all our students' individual progress and achievements, with a school average of 34 points, compared to a world average of 30.
This year, 25 of our students applied to university, and our provisional analysis reveals outcomes that will allow those students to flourish as they progress to the next stage of their lives.
University Destinations and Courses
Our students' diverse talents and passions are reflected in their chosen university destinations and courses.
UK Universities
Russell Group: 8 students will attend prestigious Russell Group universities, studying subjects like Economics, Accounting & Finance, and Ecological and Environmental Sciences. These institutions include the London School of Economics and Political Science (Top 50 University, QS World Rankings 2025) and the University of Edinburgh (Top 30, QS Global Rankings 2025).
Creative Fields: 5 students will explore their creativity in fields such as Interior Design and Songwriting at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) and the University of the Arts London (UAL).
North America
1 student will study Computer Science at New York’s Rochester Institute of Technology with a $19.5K Annual scholarship.
1 student will attend McGill University in Canada (Global Top 30, QS World Rankings 2025).
European Union
3 students will study at EU universities, including the International University of Monaco.
Apprenticeships
1 student will embark on a professional apprenticeship at REWE Digital in Berlin.
Notable Achievements
Our students' exceptional results are a testament to their dedication and the support they have received throughout their time at Halcyon. 44% of students achieved 36 points and higher. Scores in the range of 34-37 are generally considered equivalent to AAA at A-level, while scores of 38+ are equivalent to A*AA and above. Congratulations on such strong results!
