Welcome to The Halcyon Launchpad Series! 

We sat down with three of our students who have officially secured exciting professional opportunities starting in the coming months. While their career paths vary—spanning economics, technology, and journalism—each student shared a common drive to turn their academic passions into real-world impact.

Today, we are kicking things off by highlighting Grade 12 student Raj, who was recently offered a prestigious degree apprenticeship with Barclays.

Many parents and those in the education space have seen it: the student who has "checked out," the high-achiever who is secretly burnt out, or the teenagers who struggle to engage fully in the classroom. In an era of record-high student anxiety and declining engagement, many parents and educators are left asking: What has caused this shift and how do we address it?

For the third year running, our Linked Learning Days (March 24–25) transformed the city into a laboratory for discovery. Guided by our "London is our classroom" philosophy, students from Grades 6 through 10 spent two days engaging in cross-disciplinary projects that bridged the gap between theory and practice.

Whether they were analyzing animal behavior at the Zoo or exploring artefact conservation at the V&A, our students took ownership of their education in inspiring ways.
